Not many things have an immediate and lasting impression on me. When I seen KISS in concert the first time, that left an impression. When I seen my first Indian Chief, that left an impression. When I was taken out on the lake and offered the chance to go bowfishing, THAT left an impression!

While I eagerly wait for the first days of turkey hunting to arrive, I can say with certainty that this years event has me more excited for bow fishing than bird hunting. Most of this can be attributed to me being a lousy shot. ;) But the beauty of bowfishing is that you don't blow the shots. You just reel and try again. And again. And again, again, again. 100s of times over. A marvelous time to be sure.

This year's Bow Bash is sure to feature much of the same. Included in the festivities will be early morning hunts, afternoon rests, and late night excursions on the lake.
