We hosted several great events in the past. The future is loading up!
As we just took over the resort on the 25th of August, 2003
we have not had a lot of time to host many events. We will DEFINITELY remedy
that in 2004! ;) That is not to say all was lost as we did accomplish quite
a lot in that short time. Here are just a few of the events we did accomplish.
Hunter's Friend Resort hosted the first
ever Branson
Bow Bash. This was an event where shooters from all over the
United States came to our resort in Branson and shared time together about
a sport we love most, archery. Click on the link to read more about it.
We also hosted the first ever Indian
Rally on Indian Point as well as the 2nd
Indian Rally on Indian Point. Without a doubt it was our most successful
event to date. To top that off, we are close to being sold out for next years
gathering as well, scheduled to run from the 18th through the 23rd of May,
2005. Click the link to read the details for 2004's inaugural ride and see
the good time that was had by all.
In the spring of 2004 we hosted our 2nd Branson
Bow Bash. Though not as strong of a turnout as the previous
gathering, it did provide us with more comic relief than anticipated. Plus,
it gave us some great starting ideas for next years Bow Bash. One that has
all the makings of being something great.
Tru Life Baptist Church also paid us a visit and they were wonderful in
each and every way. We were able to accomplish this through the cooperation
and help of DreamCatcher resort working with us as a team. Normally, a resort
as small as ours is eliminated from handling large gatherings such as this.
Due to the wonderful friends we have at DreamCatcher, we were able to tell
Tru Life that we would be able to handle their group after all. Very nice
people and we hope to see them again in the near future.
We also hosted the Poor Boys Bass Fishing Club tournament and had MORE fun
with the kids than we did the fishermen! The kids closed the pool out for
us this season and you would never have known it was 50 degrees outside. They
were happy and having the time of their lives and so did we. We look forward
to seeing them return in the future and thank them for allowing us to be a
part of their tournament.
